Morrisons Cove Produce Auction Opens for Spring

The Morrisons Cove Produce Auction officially opened March 29. It is located at 4826 Woodbury Pike, Roaring Spring.

Though it was a cold, brisk day, contributers bought a variety of flowers such as pansies, phlox, and some herbs such as basil.

Mark Wisecarver is the auctioneer and will have the next auction on Tuesday, April 5, at 9 a.m. There is a food vendor selling breakfast sandwiches, cookies and homemade doughnuts.

Though the sides on the building are put down to help with the cold, attendees are encouraged to dress warm.

Attendees can get a number for bidding in the building.
