G. Louise “Aunt Beasy” Fagans, 94, of Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 23, 2022, at her home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1927, in Martinsburg, daughter of the late John F. and Annie A. (Russell) Klepser. On Nov. 13, 1948, she married Walter Patrick “Pat” Fagans in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death March 29, 1994.
She is survived by a sister, E. Jane Steele of Martinsburg; and her nieces and nephews, along with their families that dearly loved her.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: John E. “Jack” Klepser and Ronald R. Klepser; and a sister, M. Joan Klepser.
Louise was a 1946 graduate of Martinsburg High School and was employed for over 40 years at Sylvania in Altoona.
She was lifelong member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Martinsburg. Louise was also a longtime member and past women’s club champion at Iron Masters Country Club, Roaring Spring.
Louise loved spending time with her family, especially with her great and great-great nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed reading and golfing with her husband, Pat.
A special thanks goes to the Kindred Hospice team. Beasy’s family greatly appreciated the care she received from her nurses, Michelle and Denise. Their excellent care allowed Aunt Beasy to pass away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family.
At the request of the deceased a private funeral service will be held at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, (www.bolgerfuneralhome.com).Pastor Tim Guyer will be officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
