Burglaries Continue

State police in Bedford and Hollidaysburg were investigating more Sunday morning home burglaries in the area. The burglaries happened while the victims were attending church.
Architect Tom Rockwell, grandson of artist Norman Rockwell, visited classrooms in local elementary schools to get input on the design for the new handicapped accessible playground at Memorial Park. Rockwell worked for an architectural firm in New York that specialized in playground construction.
A benefit auction raised over $8,000 for the Claysburg-Kimmel PTO.
The Williamsburg Lady Blue Pirates basketball team was set to play in the PIAA Western Finals against Kennedy Christian. This was the fifth straight year the Lady Pirates played in the Western Finals.
Cradle Roll Sunday was observed at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Roaring Spring with a baby buggy parade.
