Central Wrestling Season Ends With Mathews' Defeat

Central Wrestler Jaxon Mathews advanced to the Southwest AA Regional Finals this past week. He went 1-2 at the tournament to end his wrestling season.

Mathews had a first-round bye, then lost a 7-3 decision in the second round to Nicholas Ferra from Burrell High School.

In his first consolation round, he won a 7-0 decision against Logan Baker from Somerset High School but lost a 5-2 decision in his second consolation round against Marcus Gable from Philipsburg-Osceola....
