Thought for the Week

The Old Testament shows some aspects of God dealing with people that we have trouble understanding. God had delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt. He used signs and wonders to accomplish this. The fear of God had fallen upon many pagan peoples. Unfortunately, God’s own people, Israel, did not have a holy fear and reverence for God. They did not trust Him as they should have.
