Rickie W. Reffner, Sr.

Rickie W. Reffner, Sr., 69, of Bedford, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at UPMC Altoona after a battle with Covid.

He was born Jan. 17, 1953, in Roaring Spring, the son of the late William and Florence (Gray) Reffner. He married Connie M. Ross Nov. 29, 1971.

He is survived by his wife; four children, Rickie W. Reffner, Jr. of Everett, John A. Reffner of Roaring Spring, Stephen P. Reffner of Johnstown, and Christina M. Wells of Arizona; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three siblings, Leonard Reffner of Roaring Spring, Dave Reffner and wife Patricia of Roaring Spring, and Tim Reffner of Hollidaysburg.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sierra Christine Staniszewski and five siblings.

Rickie attended Central High School. He retired from Skills of Central Pennsylvania. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and working on cars. He was a member of the Bedford V.F.W. and the Bedford American Legion.

A funeral was held Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring (www.thompsonfh.com).
