Ask the Williamsburgers

Last week’s question was so popular, I decided to bring the love back for a second week. If you remember from last week, we asked – when and where did you meet your valentine? Here are a few more and romantic responses:

Danielle Schumacher: 2013 JC Blair Hospital, I gave birth to him and 2020 – Altoona Hospital when I gave birth to my second little date!

Jim Snyder Jr: 1966 – in the hay! A church youth group hay ride!

Ricci Michelone: We met in September 1975 when we started Kindergarten. Miss Patterson, aka Mrs. Kaufman was our teacher.

Betty Frank: Williamsburg Community Center – Teen Dance. 52 years ago!

Kelly Nunamker: August 15, 1981 in the parking lot of Fisher’s store in Clappertown. We were married four years later in 1985; he’s still my Valentine!

Pam Prough: We met in 1976 when we worked at the IGA here in town. I was a sophomore and Pat was a junior in high school.

Ashley Morgan: We met on March 22, 1997 on a school bus. Been together ever since.

Renee Criswell: We met at his sister’s house, we both looked at her the exact same time and smiled, it was love at first sight. Celebrating 18 years of marriage this year!

Angela Kipe: Lakemont Park. Went on a blind date set up by Jeff’s best friend, Bill Shultz.

Rich Brantner, Sr.: Ronda and I are both from Williamsburg. She graduated in 1967 and I in 1965. I don’t recall her in school. It was only after I got out of the Navy and while cruising the streets of Williamsburg where she caught my eye. The rest is history. We got married in 1969 at the Church of God on 1st Street. Today, we’ve been married 53 years!

Sandy Tucker: We worked together, he was the cook and I was a server. He is still cooking for me today – 45 years later!
