The Central Dragons faced the Bishop McCourt Crushers and the Penn Cambria Panthers this week. The Dragons came out victorious in both games, beating the Crushers 70-53, while finding victory over the Panthers 55-45.
The Dragons traveled to face the Crushers on Monday. An overwhelming victory left five Dragon players scoring double digits. Central's Seth Bean led the Dragons with 17 points. Eli Lingenfelter put up 14 points for the Dragons, while Hunter Smith had 12. Both Rylan Daugherty and Tyrell Rolle had 10 points as well. Central's JV also found victory over the Crushers with a score of 42-31. Eli Muthler was the high scorer with 13 points.
Thursday, the Dragons faced a highly anticipated rematch against the Penn Cambria Panthers. High scorer for the Dragons was Lingenfelter with 16 points. Rolle added 10 points for the Dragons as well. Central's JV was victorious against the Panthers with a score of 41-31. High scorer was Jack Dunn with 13 points.
The now 15-4 Dragons will face the Somerset Eagles and the Chestnut Ridge Lions this week.
