Lisa Rosemary England, 56, of Lower Snake Spring Road, Everett, went to her eternal home with Jesus Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at UPMC West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Ms. England was born Jan. 29, 1965, in Snake Spring Twp., daughter of the late Samuel B. and Sara (Hershberger) England.
Rosemary was formerly married to James Clapper.
She is survived by her son, Greg S. Clapper, Snake Spring Twp .; brother, Bernie England, her dogs: Jasper and Baby Boy and her guinea fowl, Buddy Boy.
Ms. England was a 1983 graduate of Bedford High School.
Rosemary was a Dairy Farmer and she helped with Livestock hauling. She also worked at the Morrison Cove and The Belleville poultry auctions. Rosemary was an animal lover and was active with 4-H and FFA. She was also crowned the Bedford County Lamb and Wool Queen.
She was a member of Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren. In her earlier years she taught Sunday School.
Lisa was hardworking and a person you could always count on. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at Ritchey Cemetery, Snake Spring Twp.
