Following reorganization meeting, the regular meeting was opened. Beth Lansberry was appointed auditor; Vice Chairman Clark made the motion with Supervisor Hamilton seconding and the motion passed.
Chairman Lansberry said that the township had not donated to the Williamsburg Public Library last year, as the supervisors had done in the past. Secretary Kelsie Lego said in the 2022 budget for donations was $500, which had all gone to the Hollidaysburg ambulance service. Lansberry suggested splitting the $500 budgeted between the ambulance service and the library. Vice Chairman Clark said that he was “very thankful” to the Hollidayburg ambulance service for its coverage, “especially in our area.” With that said, Vice Chairman Clark made the motion to give a $300 donation to the Hollidaysburg ambulance and $200 to the Williamsburg Public Library. Supervisor Hamilton seconded and the motion passed.
Stan Grove was reappointed to the Williamsburg Municipal Authority as the township representative.
