C & S Family Markets have announced the liquidation of inventory at its Martinsburg location in preparation of its permanent closure.
A post made to the market’s Facebook page noted the sale began on Monday, Jan. 3, and stated that all inventory, excluding lottery, milk, and gift cards are 30 percent off.
The liquidation of the Martinsburg location comes less than a month after the closing of the Claysburg market.
Store owner Tim Cleveland passed away on Dec. 14, just days after it was announced that both C&S locations would be closing.
In announcing the Martinsburg liquidation sale, the Cleveland family thanked the community for supporting the business and expressed Tim’s love for them:
“Thank you very much for all your years of support. Dad cared for each and every one of you, and we wish this wonderful community nothing but pure love for what this town may bring. Thank you for seven amazing years!”
