The Loysburg Reformed Church is inviting the public to attend its Christmas Eve candlelight service Friday, Dec. 24, in the church sanctuary, 1698 Woodbury Pike. The time for the traditional service has been moved from 9 p.m. to 7 p.m. this year.
The service will consist of lessons and carols, a brief message on the meaning of Christmas by Rev. Dr. David M. Meckley, pastor, and special music. It will conclude with lighting of candles held by each individual attending as they gather in a circle around the sanctuary for the singing of “Silent Night, Holy Night.”
