WISE Women of Blair County Award Fall 2021 Scholarships

WISE Women of Blair County is pleased to announce the scholarship recipients for the Fall 2021 term. These scholarships are available to women residents of Blair County 21 years of age and older who have overcome adversity or discrimination in their lives and are pursuing post-secondary education.

A total of $10,000 was awarded to the following three women: Annette McGahan, who is a student in the Associates degree program for Medical Billing and Coding at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College; Alicia Williams, who is a student in the Bachelors degree program at Penn State Altoona for Human Development and Family Studies; and Kierstin Hogan, who is a student at Mt. Aloysius College in the Associates degree program for Physical Therapist Assistance.

The scholarships are awarded through the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation.
