Marjorie K. Delozier

Marjorie K. Delozier, 87, of Roaring Spring, passed away Thursday morning Nov. 4, 2021, at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.

She was born June 3, 1934, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Frank and Orpha (Steward) Mock. She married Robert P. Delozier, Sr. on Sept. 27, 1952, and he preceded her in death Feb. 21, 1991.

She is survived by a son, Robert P. Delozier and girlfriend Gale Corle of Roaring Spring; two grandchildren: Sarah Beth Hall and husband Michael of Hopewell and Eric Delozier of Galitzin; and four great grandchildren: Kaden, Madox, Adrian, and Jaxon.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Marjorie was a graduate of Roaring Spring High School. She had previously been employed at Sylvania, Altoona, and she, along with her husband had owned and operated Delozier’s Grocery for several years.

She loved hanging out with her friends, going to Silver Sneakers at the Garver YMCA, going out to eat, baking, and she especially loved spending time with her family.

She and her husband had been members of the Spring Shanty-Shakers.

A funeral was held Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring. Interment was made in Greenlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marjorie’s memory may be given to the Garver Memorial YMCA, 820 Grove Street, Roaring Spring, PA 16673.
