Shirley L. Clark, 78, of Everett, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

She was born June 18, 1943, in Everett, a daughter of Paul and Mary (Kichman) Cottle. On July 6, 1968, she was united in marriage to Marl L. Clark, Sr.

Along with her husband of fifty-three years she is survived by children: Marl L. Clark, Jr. married to Sheila (McIlnay), Everett, Lorie L. married to Corrie Beegle, Clearville, Tina A. married to Frank Donaldson, Sanger, Texas; and Shannon Clark married to Selena (Koontz), Everett; eight grandchildren: Taylor L. Koontz married to Destiny; Dylan J. Clark; Zachary N. Clark; Corrie L. Beegle, Jr .; Callum Donaldson; Tegan Donaldson; Brady L. Clark and Garrett L Beegle; two great grandchildren: Jacii Rae Grubb and Bryson W. Ramsey; siblings Ray Cottle; Carl Cottle married to Carolyn; Paul Cottle, Jr. married Arlene; Beverly Sipes married to Richard; August “Jack” Cottle married to Dorothy; Donald Cottle married to Vickie; Sally married to Ray Mowery; Henry Cottle married to Kathy; Mary Alice married to Pete Ritchey; sisters-in-law Mava Cottle and Ruby Cottle; special nephew and niece Dennis Hauze and Michelle Sones.

She was preceded in death by infant sister Martha Cottle, William Cottle, Jim Cottle, and sister-in-law Carla Cottle.

Shirley was a lifelong member of the Tatesville United Methodist Church.

She was a graduate of Robert P. Smith High School Class of 1961.

Shirley worked at the Lions Manufacturing.

She enjoyed crocheting, taking car rides, working crossword puzzles, drawing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A funeral will be held today, Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc. 299 Raystown Road, Everett, with Pastor Sue Detterline officiating.

Burial will be held at Tatesville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
