Making Sense

I talked with an elderly woman this week that has two adult sons. She described how good they are to her although they boss her too much. One did excellent in school and even has had some inventions patented. But she laughed and said to me, “He doesn’t have common sense.”

I took it from our conversation that her other son was also smart and had much more common sense. Sometimes sense is not very common. People do not always do what they should. Solomon addressed that truth a number of times in the book of Proverbs.
