Martinsburg Library Fundraiser Has A New Look

The Martinsburg Community Library will be holding a Library Bash on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at the Village Green Bistro on Village Way in Martinsburg. The event begins at 5 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25 and are available now at the library. There are only 100 seats available.

The evening will include a buffet dinner prepared by Chef Jeremy Stultz, general manager and chef at the Bistro. Dinner will feature roast turkey, glazed ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls and assorted pies. Wine will be available for purchase. Musical entertainment will be provided by Matt Wagner. There will be a silent auction as well as assorted gift card raffles, with proceeds benefitting the library.

Tickets will also be available at the event for this year’s “Autumn Steam” quilt, pieced and quilted by Jean Habinyak. Fabric for the quilt was donated by Zimmermans’ Bernina. The quilt is on display at the library. Tickets are $10, and the winner will be drawn at the event.

The evening will also include Novel Service Awards presentations to Nancy Newlin (Volunteer of the Year) and Fisher’s Party Central (Corporate Novel Service Award).

Advertising sponsorships are available, and any business or individual wanting to donate gift baskets, gift cards/coupons, new retail products, and vacation packages may contact the library. All donors to the event will be listed in the event’s program booklet.
