Central’s postseason run toward a second straight appearance in the PIAA, Class AA state baseball championship game ended one-run short at Homer City. The Dragons were upended by Riverside by a score of 5-4 at First Commonwealth field. Central concluded its season with an 18-6 record, which included its sixth District 6 championship in the history of the baseball program.
