Terry L. Malloy

Terry L. Malloy, 73, of Martinsburg, passed away peacefully at home May 24, 2021, surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness.

He was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Altoona, the son of the late Luke and Dora (Stoltenberg) Malloy. He married Carol A. Page May 22, 1987.

He is survived by his wife; six children: Michael Malloy, Patrick Malloy, John Rizzo (Christel), Scott Rizzo (Amy), Kara Garver (Jim), and Ryan Rizzo (Kristy); seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Terry was a 1965 graduate of Altoona High School. He retired in 2011 from Veeder Root after 42 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received the Purple Heart. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins fan. He was a life member of the Ray-Camp V.F.W. Post # 7689, Roaring Spring.

A public service was held Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the chapel at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. Pastor John Bennett officiated. Military honors were performed by the Blair County Veterans Honor Guard.
