Bedford
Mary Loretta Dick, 95, a resident at Colonial Courtyard at Bedford, formerly of Roaring Spring, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the home.
She was born Dec. 11, 1925, in Pavia, the daughter of the late Grant and Cleo (Mowry) Ickes. She married Doyle L. Dick June 30, 1975. He passed Aug. 2, 2015.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Ruscito of Portage; two step sons: Doyle W. Dickinson and wife Patricia of Devon, and Ronald C. Dick and wife Sandy of Hollidaysburg; a son-in-law, Ron Reffner of Roaring Spring; three grandchildren: Jason Ruscito of Santa Barbara, Calif., Corey Reffner and wife Lindsay of Claysburg, and Andrew Dick of Hollidaysburg; and two great-grandchildren: Regan and Reed Reffner.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Reffner; and nine siblings: Clark, Eugene, Russel, Paul, Eva, John, Boyd, and two infant siblings: Charles and Fred.
Mary was a member of Zion Reformed Church, Pavia. She enjoyed dancing, baking, traveling, and she especially loved spending time with family and friends.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until noon, Friday, May 21, in the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring (www.thompsonfh.com), where a funeral service will be held at noon by Pastor Tim Mock. Interment will be made in Pavia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory may be given to the Zion Reformed Church.
