Blackberry Beach By Irene Hannon
Katherine Parker is about to get everything she is ever dreamed, so why doesn’t she feel fulfilled? In an attempt to find answers, she travels to Hope Harbor, Oregon, to a secluded house for some much-needed rest and relaxation. She goes incognito, as this time away is really just about finding herself and not living in the spotlight. Unfortunately, it seems like a local resident may have recognized her.
Local coffee shop owner Zach Garrett is recovering from some pretty traumatic events in his life, so he has no intention of getting involved with the mysterious new woman in town. He first sees her at his shop, then again walking along the beach in front of his house. That is when he realizes she is renting the house next door.
Parker and Garrett end up pitching in to help the community renovate a house to be called “Hope House.” It will serve as a group home for foster kids. As the two work together, sparks begin to fly – some heated, some flirty. Will love conquer all, or will these two people from totally different worlds continue on their individual paths?
Multi-award winning and best-selling author Irene Hannon is back with the seventh and final book in her “Hope Harbor” series. Though each book in the series can be read as a standalone novel, the backstories of the interesting characters in this small town are better connected when the series is read in its entirety. One particular character, Charley Lopez, a local artist and fish taco maker, gives readers continuity throughout the series, as he serves as a sort of guide throughout.
Some of Hannon’s most popular books are Sea Rose Lane, Sandpiper Cove, Pelican Point, and Starfish Pier, all a part of the “Hope Harbor” series. Fans of suspense will enjoy Hannon’s other series include “Code of Honor,” “Private Justice,” and “Men of Valor.”
