The Turkey Hill convenience store in East Freedom has closed its doors.
The doors were locked at 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, and workers began removing signage.
Freedom Township officials said they were not notified by Turkey Hill officials of their plans to close the store.
The Herald has reached out to Turkey Hill’s corporate office for comment but has not received a response.
Turkey Hill convenience stores are part of EG America, a Massachusetts-based convenience store retailer. The company claims more than 1,600 stores across the United States....
