Deer Association, PGC Plan Upcoming Informational Meeting on CWD

The National Deer Association, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and Wildlife Futures Program, is holding a series of meetings to update and inform the public on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), a disease that always is fatal to the deer and elk it infects.

All meetings will be held virtually through Zoom. The first meeting will be held on May 5.

Information presented at each of the six meetings will be tailored to a different Game Commission region.

The meeting for the Southcentral Region, where Blair County is located, will be held May 18 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
