The Spring Extravaganza put on by the Farm Show will take place on Saturday, May 8. This event will be held on the Williamsburg Community Farm Show Grounds.
"We just want everyone to come out and enjoy themselves," Farm Show Board Director Angie Walason said. "We had so much success with our fall one, but with the number of vendors – this one is going to be our biggest craft show yet."
Over 90 vendors have signed up for this event at the Farm Show grounds and everything will be outside with a similar setup for the fall craft show.
Booths will be 6 feet apart, following CDC guidelines and masks are recommended.
Vendors will be selling items such as crafts, primitives and baked goods.
The food will all be "Williamsburg and surrounding area based," said Walason.
Belly Busters Food Truck, the famous Ladies Fire Auxiliary' taco salads and Lower Trail Creamery with BBQ will be leading the pack along.
Other events will be the Blair County Antique Car Cruise-In at the Community Center, live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from the Caldwells, and mobile axe-throwing targets from Slingers' Throw House.
"All in all, we just want to see everyone, and just get together to appreciate all the small businesses we have in our area – we have some talented people, and we just want to put a spotlight on that," Walason adds.
The craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
