To the Editor:

We had such a great response from the community to the Helping Appvion Employees fundraiser on Saturday, April 3. We were able to give not only unlimited food to those who signed up, but a generous amount of gift cards as well.

There was so much food, in fact, that we ended up donating to both the food porch at Trinity Methodist church and to the Roaring Spring food pantry after all of the employees got what they could use.
