Josette Ann Frye, 65, of Martinsburg, passed away late Friday, April 16, 2021, at UPMC Altoona.
She was born May 23, 1955, in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late George P. and Esther E. (Oakes) Replogle.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Lawrence P. Graper of Martinsburg; two daughters: Angela K. Maldonado of Roaring Spring and Ashley L. Russell (Dusty) of Martinsburg; two sons: Michael R. (Candi) Frye of Bedford and Matthew P. Frye of Roaring Spring; seven grandchildren: Natalie Frye, Michaela Frye, Haylee Frye, Blake Frye, Sofie Maldonado, Jacob Russell and Ryan Frye; a sister, Vickie E. (Barry) Yarnall of Osterburg; two nephews: Barry (Tammy Thompson) Yarnall and Brian Yarnall; a great niece, MacKenzie Yarnell; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory P. Replogle.
Josette was a 1973 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. She was a member of Diehl’s Crossroads Church of the Brethren, where she served as worship leader and attended women’s bible study.
She was primarily a homemaker, who also worked for the Garver Memorial Y.M.C.A., Homewood at Martinsburg and at Roaring Spring Blank Book Co.
Josette loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking, baking and making crafts.
A funeral was held Tuesday, April 20 at Diehl’s Crossroads Church of the Brethren, rural Martinsburg, Pastor Timothy Laird officiated. Interment followed at Diehl’s Crossroads Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of Josette may be given to Diehl’s Crossroads Church of the Brethren, 2631 Henrietta Rd., Martinsburg, PA 16662.
