Nason Launches Renovation

A $20,000 renovation program was launched at Nason Hospital, founded 50 years earlier as a sanitarium by Dr. Albert Nason. A sprinkler fire protection system was to be installed and the boiler and heating plant were to be removed from the main building. New lighting fixtures and sound-absorbent ceilings were to be installed in the corridors. Ivan E. Garber, president of the hospital board, noted that the hospital was in better condition than at any time in its earlier history.
