'Rare Bird' Strite Strikes Out on Her Own

For Hayley Strite, growing up and creating art "came hand in hand."

Strite, born and raised in Williamsburg, is now using that love of art in her new graphic design business, Rare Bird Designs.

"Growing up, I was always creating art," she said. "It was always a part of who I am. Once I reached high school and the time came to begin thinking about a career path, I discovered what graphic design is and realized it was the best way to combine art with technology,"
