At the end of winter, the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) distributed a press release reporting that the busy time for monitoring Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) was winding down.
Although the PGC monitors CWD all year long, the most intense surveillance occurs during deer season when the PGC collects more data than at any other time of the year.
