Flowers, including yellow dahlias, pink petunias and coleus, along with potatoes and mushrooms, were a few of the items auctioned off on March 30 at the Southern Cove produce auction.
Folks gathered in anticipation of buying the first of the season's hanging baskets, pots and flats.
Aaron Martin, owner of the auction building at 1428 Woodbury Pike, was at the auction Tuesday. Martin explained that the produce auction started in 1996.
