Pennsylvania Rep. Jim Gregory (R-Blair) has closed his Hollidaysburg office to walk-in visitors indefinitely due to acts of vandalism and criminal mischief that have occurred in recent weeks.
“For the past three days, and for the foreseeable future, my Hollidaysburg office has been closed and will continue to be closed as a result of ongoing threats posed to staff and others. As has been publicly reported, an individual was charged for throwing a crucifix through our front window, shattering the glass, while staff members were present in the office,” Rep. Gregory said.
Gregory said with the current state of events, his thoughts must be first on his responsibility for the safety of staff and constituents. He said he is "thankful for the Hollidaysburg police’s bravery and support."
Constituents are encouraged to call (814) 695-2398 or use the “Contact us” tab at RepGregory.com for assistance.
“My staff and I will do our best to ensure that all of our friends and neighbors in the Hollidaysburg area have access to the legislative information and comprehensive constituent services that are available to all residents of the 80th Legislative District,” Rep. Gregory said.
