Pa. Secretary of State Steps Down in Apology
The Pennsylvania Department of State on Feb. 1 apologized for failing to advertise a proposed constitutional amendment first passed by the legislature in November 2019, HB 963, which could have been considered this month for second consideration.
Pa. Gov. Tom Wolf announced changes at the Department of State after it failed to advertise the proposed constitutional amendment, which would extend retroactively the timeline for victims to file civil actions against their abusers.
