Martinsburg Woman Charged with Furnishing Alcohol, Tobacco to Minors

A Martinsburg woman who was charged last year with having a sexual relationship with an 18-year-old student while employed by the Spring Cove School District is now facing new, unrelated charges.

Casey L. Naylor, 33, is facing misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of children by a parent or guardian, corruption of minors and furnishing liquor to minors after police said she provided alcohol and tobacco products to her underage son and a friend.

On Jan. 13, Naylor was questioned by North Woodbury Township police and allegedly admitted to supplying her son and his friend with alcohol and tobacco several times in the recent past.

Naylor allegedly told police that she knew it was wrong and that her son would “make her” purchase alcohol and tobacco as well as tobacco paraphernalia or he would get “angered.”

Naylor was arraigned by Martinsburg Magisterial District Judge Andrew Blattenberger and released on $10,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 11, in front of Blattenberger.

Naylor is also facing charges stemming from last February when state police at Hollidaysburg charged her with sexual contact with a student.

According to police, Naylor, who was employed as a paraprofessional at Central High School, was arrested after the school resource officer alerted police to a possible sexual relationship between a student and staff member.

While investigating the allegations, police said they witnessed the alleged victim come out of Naylor’s house and when questioned, he allegedly admitted to having a sexual relationship with Naylor.

Naylor has been free on $30,000 unsecured bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on the charge. Online court records show her preliminary hearing has been continued several times and is now scheduled for March 11 in front of Blattenberger.
