Amanda Feight was a helper at the clothing bank in Woodbury at the old Woodbury Elementary School and kept thinking “what else can we do in this building?” She came up with the idea to open a used book store with proceeds going to the food pantry in the same building. She rented an empty room and began to collect books.
She asked friends, put a notice in her church bulletin and advertised for donations of books and soon had enough to open the store, Reed to Feed Bookstore, located in the Woodbury Area Community Center.
