The Class of 1921 of the Woodbury High School planned a chicken and waffle supper Jan. 29 in the basement of the IOOF building.
L.R. Over of Curryville advertised good “run-of-the-mine” coal for $6 per ton.
Harvey A. Stoner, Howard Kagarise and Miss Rebecca Russel were in attendance at the Bible Conference of the Brethren in Christ Church at Grantham.
Edward McCormick, a mechanic of Hollidaysburg, was repairing dinkies for the Woodbury Land Co. of Mines.
James Croft of Potter Creek was serving jury duty at Bedford.
M.A. McGonigle, secretary of the Tate Lumber Co. of Sulphur Springs, advertised for sale a piece of land and timber located in South Woodbury Township, Bedford County. The parcel contained 196 acres of timber.
Miss Ruth Irene Provins became the bride of Charles Oren Whetstone in a quiet ceremony. A group of approximately 60 people gave the newly-weds a serenade and a joy ride through town.
