Roaring Spring
Carolyn "June" Keith, 89, of Roaring Spring, after a long life of service, entered into the kingdom of God at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring, on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020.
She was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Paul F. and Edith (Dick) Isenberg. She married Clair "Sonny" Keith on Dec. 16, 1951, in Roaring Spring. He preceded her in death Nov. 22, 1997.
She is survived by four children: Cindy J. Yingling and husband Paul of Leola, Michael P. Keith and wife Joanie of Roaring Spring, Mark J. Keith and wife Suzan of Raliegh, N.C., and Brian M. Keith and wife Sharon of New Holland; 10 grandchildren: Mark, Amy, Jordan, Matthew, Christopher, Adam, Andrew, Jessica, Julie and Jerry; and 14 great-grandchildren: Katie, Camryn, Grace, Brady, Sofia, Addyson, Reagan, Sawyer, Mackenzie, Olivia June, Brody, Aubry, Logan and Cora.
June was a life-long member of Christ Church, Roaring Spring, where she was instrumental and very active in the life of the church.
She was a 1949 graduate of Roaring Spring High School.
She enjoyed sewing blankets for missions for third world countries, gardening, cooking, and baking. June, along with her husband, enjoyed square dancing and were members of several local clubs.
A funeral was held Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Christ Church, Roaring Spring. The Rev. Joel Kletzing officiated. Interment was made in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in June's memory may be given to Christ Church.
