Guests Visit from Akron

Miss Gertrude Kauffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Kauffman living near Bossler station in North Woodbury township, became the bride of Mr. Ezra C. Bender of Somerset county.

Sixty some guests attended and the ceremony was performed by Rev. Abram Metzler.

A family reunion was held at the home of Mrs. Sarah Baker, near Fredericksburg, on Christmas day, children and grandchildren being present. A dinner was a feature of the observance.

Mr. and Mrs. Levi R. Earlenbaugh, two daughters and grandson of Akron were guests over Christmas at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David R. Earlenbaugh of Martinsburg. The two men are brothers and their aged mother was also with them. It was the first visit home for the Ohio man for twelve years.

Prof. M. Elton Dean, principal of the Martinsburg schools, was attending a teacher’s conference at Harrisburg.

Cyrus F. Imler died at the home of a son four miles south of Loysburg. Death came suddenly.
