Camerer, 100, Passes On

Mrs. Elizabeth Camerer, who on May 21 before, had reached the age of 100 years, died at her home at the Camerer farm just outside Martinsburg borough, on Sunday. Death was due to pneumonia.

The woman who was said to have been the oldest person in Blair county, was born in Franklin county, her maiden name being Horn. She came to the Cove with her parents when a girl, and became the wife of James Camerer who was the son of Daniel Camerer, one of the two original settlers of the central section of the Cove.
