Some Inconvenient Truths

I was interested to read the article "Never the Same Again" in the December 2020 "Pennsylvania Game News." The author, Associate Editor Joe Kosack, takes us through the past 20 years of deer management from the Pennsylvania Game Commission's perspective. Kosack lauds the management decisions made by PGC biologist Gary Alt and his successors. Kosack praises Alt's team's promotion of concurrent season and antler restrictions. He concludes that Alt and his team "made deer hunting better for everyone who chases whitetails between the Delaware and Ohio rivers."
