DORIS E. MCCARTY

Doris E. McCarty, 77, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring, after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 30, 1942, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Orville C. and Clara E. (Mentzer) Weitzel. She married William R. McCarty, Jr. on Sept. 27, 2001.

She is survived by her husband; two children: Deborah Flickenger (John) of Franklin and Jeffrey Eckard (Michele) of Bedford; four grandchildren: John Flickenger, Jacob Flickenger (Brandy), Summer Eckard and Olivia Eckard; two great-grandchildren: Ian and Layla; three stepchildren:...
