I am here once again highlighting another truly amazing and beautiful breed of dairy cow; the Guernsey.

The Guernsey breed originated from the island of Guernsey, which is in the Channel Islands. They are typically fawn or red and white in color and absolutely gorgeous. At mature age, they will weigh approximately 1,200 to 1,500 pounds.

Although Guernseys are ranked sixth in milk production among the six major dairy breeds, they are still favored by many people for their excellent and nutrient rich milk. Guernseys' milk is rich in fat and protein. It also has a slight golden yellow tint to it...
