A plea for closer cooperation to build a finer community in Morrisons Cove was voiced by officers of the Martinsburg Boosters.

The Central High School Chorus will present a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” Sunday in the high school auditorium.

The doe season started early at the square in Martinsburg last Friday afternoon when five of the creatures, wild from the hunting that has been going on, were jumping into buildings and proving a hazard to pedestrians and motorists in the business district.
