Martinsburg
Timothy L. Colbert, 60, of Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at his home.
He was born Dec. 2, 1959, in Roaring Spring, son of the late Charles E. "Buss" and Gertrude "Gertie" A. (Hoover) Colbert.
Surviving are three brothers: J. Wayne (Janet) Colbert and C. Steven (Janice) Colbert, both of Martinsburg, and Kenneth E. Colbert of Fort Lauderdale, Fla .; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James A Colbert Sr.
Tim was a 1977 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, and was employed at Roaring Spring True Value for the last three years. He previously worked in the maintenance department for Homewood at Martinsburg and for many years owned and operated T/C's Repair Shop in Henrietta, rural Martinsburg.
He was a member of the Henrietta Sportsmen's Club and a social member of D. Merl Tipton VFW Post 43, Martinsburg. Tim loved deer hunting and was an excellent mechanic, able to fix about anything. He also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and riding his motorcycle.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2020, at Diehl's Crossroads Cemetery, rural Martinsburg. Pastor Brian L. McCall will officiate.
Memorial contributions in memory of Tim can be given to Henrietta Sportsmen's Club, 1448 Henrietta Road, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
