The Claysburg Area Community Park will be the site of Claysburg’s Christmas in the Park on Saturday, Nov. 21.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit the park from 4 to 5 p.m. that day, with some changes to keep everyone healthy and safe.
The jolly couple will be transported to the Community Park by the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Department at 4 p.m. Nov. 21. For visits please enter from Bedford Street onto Arden Street, onto Catherine Street, then left onto Edgewood Street. Santa’s helpers will be there to assist with directions.
The Clauses and their helpers will be in the parking lot. Attendees will be asked to not leave their vehicles and to exit the Park via Dunnings Highway after they stop to greet Santa and Mrs. Clause.
Santa will accept letters from children with their Christmas wishes. A gift bag will be given to all children in the vehicle by one of Santa's helpers for the visit. If parents require a receipt of their child's letter, please add an email address and a copy of the letter will be sent to you.
Santa and Mrs. Clause will depart at 5 p.m. The lighting of the Community Christmas display will immediately follow.
