WHS Runners Compete at Juniata Valley

The Williamsburg High School cross country teams competed at Juniata Valley with Southern Fulton on Oct. 14.

The Juniata Valley girls’ squad defeated Southern Fulton, 17-40, and Williamsburg, 19-42. Southern Fulton knocked off the Williamsburg girls, 23-36.

In boys’ action, Juniata Valley defeated Williamsburg, 16-39, but fell to Southern Fulton, 17-38. Southern Fulton defeated WHS, 17-38.

Kelsie Butler placed third (23:07) for the Lady Panthers. Teammate Hannah Brenneman finished 10th (26:08).

Garrett Nicewonger led the Williamsburg boys with a eighth-place finish (23:28)....
