The football teams from Morrisons Cove experienced postseason action last weekend, Oct. 23-24.
Those three teams – Northern Bedford, Central and Williamsburg – all survived and will be back on the gridiron this weekend.
Northern Bedford (6-1) and Central (7-0) will appear in the District 5 1A and District 6 Class 3A championship games Friday and Saturday, respectively, against league rivals, while Williamsburg (4-3) will appear in the District 6 Class 1A quarterfinals Friday.
Claysburg-Kimmel (1-5) will host Glendale (2-5) in regular-season action Friday.
