NBC Boys Soccer Team Improves to 9-7

Xander Brown scored two goals to lead Everett to a 3-1 win over ICC rival Northern Bedford on Oct. 12. Spencer Weaver and Scott Weaver connected on a free kick in the first half for Everett’s second goal. Collin Yeatts scored from a throw-in by Cody Miller to close the gap in the second half.

Carson Elbin, Quaid Brady and Caleb Elder each scored goals as host Southern Fulton overcame a 1-0 deficit to knock off Northern Bedford, 3-2, Oct. 14. Drew Childers opened the scoring for Northern Bedford and Reyan Imler pulled a goal back with 15 minutes left in the game.

Damon Scheid scored two goals, both assisted by Will Waltman, as visiting Hyndman shut out Northern Bedford, 2-0, Oct. 15. The Panthers fell to 7-6 with the loss, their third straight.

Reyan Imler scored two goals and had two assists in Northern Bedford’s 7-0 victory at Forbes Road on Oct. 19. Collin Yeatts scored one goal and assisted on three. Noah Kochara, Austin Bartholow, Evan Coffey and Levi Wiedemann also added goals. Nate Helsel and Jake Sensenig combined in goal for the shutout.

NB suffered a 6-1 setback at McConnellsburg on Oct. 21. Hayden Schetrompf and Dalton DeShong both scored two goals for McConnellsburg. Xavier Buterbaugh and Kyle Romig each added goals. Reyan Imler scored Northern Bedford’s lone goal on an assist from Collin Yeatts.

On Saturday, Oct. 24, Evan Coffey scored the gamewinner in double overtime on a pass from Reyan Imler to give NB a 2-1 win against visiting Southern Fulton. The Panthers (9-7) took the lead early on in the second half as Levi Wiedemann scored on an assist from Collin Yeatts. Southern Fulton’s Jackson Burrows tied it on an assist from Quaid Brady.
