Central's Demetrious Harbaugh is brought down from behind by Westmont Hilltop's Gavin Hockenberry on Friday night, Oct. 23, at Hollidaysburg High School. The Dragons scored a 25-7 win, advancing to the District 6 Class 3A title game against Tyrone.
The Central Dragons are one win away from their first District 6 football championship since 2016.
Top-seeded Central earned a spot in Saturday's District 6 Class 3A championship game with a 25-7 victory over fourth-seeded Westmont Hilltop on Oct. 24 at Hollidaysburg's Tiger Stadium.
The win kept Central's unbeaten season alive at 7-0. Westmont Hilltop fell to 2-4 overall.
Following a scoreless first quarter, Central lit the scoreboard first when junior Parker Gregg scored on a 35-yard run with 9:07 remaining in the first half. The PAT failed.
