The Bucktail Regiment of Pennsylvania was to hold a reunion in Huntingdon on Oct. 29. This famous regiment fought the Louisiana Tigers, flower of the rebel army, at the Bloody Angle, Gettysburg. Sgt. A.E. Shimer of Gaysport and William M. McManus of Eldorado were the only surviving members of the regiment who reside in Blair County.
