Claysburg-Kimmel fell to visiting Everett in five sets Oct. 12. Emalee Cavender served for 28 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Haileigh Reed and Bailey Garver had six kills each, while Harleigh Cavender recorded 11 assists.
C-K defeated Williamsburg in straight sets Oct. 13, 25-17, 25-12, 25-19. Harleigh Cavender had 18 service points to go with 11 assists. Haileigh Reed added 17 service points. Emalee Cavender had seven kills.
The Lady Bulldogs were winners in four sets against visiting Juniata Valley on Oct. 14, 25-23, 15-25, 25-15, 25-12. Rebekah Claar paced C-K with 11 kills, while Ally Dicken served for 31 points. Harleigh Cavender delivered 16 assists and 10 service points.
C-K traveled to Glendale on Oct. 15 and fell in straight sets, 25-16, 25-16, 25-18.
NBC
Northern Bedford dropped a volleyball contest at Tussey Mountain on Oct. 13 in three straight games. The Panthers fell by scores of 25-7, 25-8, 25-17 to fall to 1-9 overall. Lainie Sipes had five digs and Lizzie Long had two blocks to lead Northern.
Northern Bedford fell to league-leading Everett in three straight games on Oct. 15. The Warriors won by scores of 25-10, 25-11 25-10. Everett sits atop the ICC South Standings. Makayla Kochara had five kills, Lainie Sipes had eight digs and Lydia Byler added four assists to pace the Panthers effort.
Northern Bedford lost at Southern Fulton in three sets, 25-16, 25-20, 25-10, on Oct. 16. Addie Sipes had eight kills and Lydia Byler had five assists for Northern Bedford, which slipped to 1-12.
CHS
Central fell in straight sets to visiting Tyrone on Oct. 13, 25-13, 25-10, 25-12. Mackenzie Saylor and Brinley Bowers each had three service points for the Lady Dragons. Bowers also had nine assists.
The Lady Dragons traveled to Bellefonte on Oct. 14 and were handed a 25-13, 25-17, 25-16 setback. Brinley Bowers served for seven points and added 10 assists, while Kirsten Ayers contributed four kills.
